WasteandChemicals during 2019 worked on the definition of the Feasibility Study for waste management in the city of Marondera (Zimbabwe) within the project “Marondera Integrated Urban Water Management Master Plan project”. (https://www.marondera-iuwm.org/)
The study showed that the environmental awareness that all citizens shall develop is the one of the most important aspect to ensure the success of a correct waste management.
For this reason, a communication campaign has been organized at the Cherutombo primary school where specific lessons were held on composting and on how to reduce the production of waste at home.
WasteandChemicals and BetaStudio donated more than 400 notebook to young students with the logo of the initiative “Think green, Keep clean”.
